Çukurova University – Balcalı Hospital Health Application and Research Center is one of our region's most prominent university hospitals. It serves the mission of being a pioneering organization that contributes to the development of health science with education, training, research and development and health services at international standards, based on patient and employee safety, with up-to-date information and technologies, in a contemporary corporate business approach.

Our hospital has a capacity of 1200 beds. In addition, service is provided with 35 operating theaters, 2 of which are ready for robotic surgery.

Our IT automation unit provides software and hardware support to approximately 1500 Hospital Information Management System users.

At Balcalı Hospital Health Application and Research Center, we are trying to digitize the processes and reach our goal of being a paperless hospital.

Digitalization practices in hospitals reduce bureaucracy in business processes and accelerate processes. For this reason, as a hospital, we are trying to digitize processes and reach our goal of becoming a paperless hospital.

We needed a medical computer in our operating room, especially to open PACS images, meet consumable medical demands, and record surgical operations. Therefore, within the scope of the renovation project of our operating theatres, a tender was held. During the evaluation process, our technical needs were met, and the costs were considered. For about two years, we have been using Artech 46'' operating room console and its local software with imaging, camera and video management, image transfer, recording, and archiving modules.
